SUSTAINABILITY AT PLATINUM SHUTTLE
Climate neutrality is an important factor when it comes to minimizing the impact of human activity on the environment.
As a chauffeur service that is committed to climate neutrality, we are constantly taking measures to reduce our carbon footprint and thus combat climate change.
THE CLIMATE PROTECTION CONCEPT AT PLATINUM SHUTTLE
THE PLATINUM SHUTTLE CHAUFFEUR SERVICE HAS BEEN CLIMATE-NEUTRAL SINCE 2021
With our Mercedes-Benz S-Class Plug-In Hybrid, you can drive with zero local emissions.
Climate neutrality is an important factor when it comes to minimizing the impact of human activity on the environment. A chauffeur service that is committed to climate neutrality helps to reduce the carbon footprint and thus combat climate change.
In order to become climate-neutral, the CO2 emissions of the chauffeur service must be measured and reduced. This is achieved through various measures, such as the use of environmentally friendly electric vehicles or the optimization of route planning to avoid unnecessary journeys.
One way to offset CO2 emissions is to support climate protection projects, such as the construction of renewable energy sources or the reforestation of forests. By investing in such projects, unavoidable CO2 emissions can be offset.
As a climate-neutral chauffeur service, we can therefore give our customers a good feeling, knowing that they are using a service that is committed to protecting the environment. It can also help to attract new customers who value sustainability and choose companies that are committed to climate protection.
Overall, climate neutrality is an important goal for all companies that want to protect the environment and combat climate change. A climate-neutral chauffeur service can help to reduce the CO2 footprint and thus make a contribution to sustainability. In a direct comparison of the year 2022 with the previous year 2021, we were already able to achieve a saving of 3 tons of CO2 in 2022 through our measures, even though there was still a lot of standstill in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In order to meet the growing demand for more climate-friendly vehicles, we have replaced the majority of our combustion vehicles with fully electric vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV or the plug-in hybrid of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class ahead of schedule for 2024.
ELECTRIC AND HYBRID VEHICLES
The majority of our fleet has already been replaced with fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles ahead of schedule for 2024.
100% CLIMATE EUTRAL
We are already offsetting our CO2 footprint for all journeys via our partner ClimatePartner. You will find our annual report further down on this page.
Current CO2 report
You can view our current CO2 report for the previous year here. On request, we can send you older reports from 2021 onwards.
Together with the service provider ClimatePartner, we draw up an annual CO2 report and offset the unavoidable emissions with the aim of continuously reducing them.
Our partner in climate protection
Together with our partner ClimatePartner, we offset our CO2 emissions
Together with our partner ClimatePartner, we calculate the CO2 footprint of our company, the so-called Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), every year. This calculation was based on the guidelines of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol).
The data collected in this way is continuously monitored and we are of course working to continuously reduce it. We offset the unavoidable CO2 emissions through internationally recognized climate protection projects. You can find more information on the respective projects and a certificate under the link https://fpm.climatepartner.com/tracking/18223-2201-1001. Our team will be happy to provide you with further information on request.
Over the coming years, our aim is to convert the entire fleet to a fully electric drive. Around 65% of our vehicles are already fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, such as the Mercedes-Benz EQE, EQS SUV or EQV, the S-Class as a plug-in hybrid or the Tesla Model Y.
